All MAPA ADVANTECH gloves are certified in conformity with the essential requirements of 89/686/EEC European Directive.
They have undergone the standard tests corresponding to the protection provided.
The following standards apply depending on the products:
EN 420: general requirements for protective gloves.
EN 374: protective gloves against chemical and micro-organisms.
EN 388: protective gloves against mechanical hazards.

All gloves styles are performance tested in various chemicals. Specific test methods defined by style in accordance with ASTM F739 or F1383 and D471.
All gloves styles are also tested for physical performance in accordance with applicable ASTM standards.
ASTM F739 : Resistance of Protective Clothing Materials to Permeation by Liquids or Gases, under Conditions of Continuous Contact.
ASTM F1383 : Resistance of Protective Clothing Materials to Permeation by Liquids or Gases, under Conditions of Intermittent Contact.
ASTM D471 : Rubber Property. Effect of Liquids.

Each production batch is tested for particle levels according to the IEST-RP-CC005.2
All gloves styles are regularly tested for corrosion levels, extractables and NVR’s in accordance with IEST-RP-CC005.2
All gloves styles containing natural rubber are tested for protein levels in accordance with the modified Lowry and LEAP test methods.
Glove styles recommended for extensive chemical protection are leak tested using 100% air inflation or light inspection.
